Hi there.
Iโm Riley.
Iโm 15ยฝ years old - white fur, hazel eyes, lots of lived experience.
Thatโs me now in the bottom picture.
Back in the day, I was unstoppable.
Ocean waves? I leapt over them.
Swimming pools? I dove right in.
Road trips to Carmel? Count me in.
Iโve played with friends, eaten a lot of roast chicken, and filled every day with tail wags and full-body joy.
These days, my legs arenโt quite what they used to be.
And when the sun goes down, I sometimes feel a littleโฆ off.
Itโs hard to settle. My Mom and Dad can see it.
And because Iโm up pacing and panting, theyโre up too.
But this week my mom tried something new: ๐ด๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐.
My good friend Raymond told her about it.
(40hz, in case youโre wondering. Who knew we had favorite frequencies?)
She played the sounds at bedtime, and you know what?
I settled.
I snored.
She settled.
We all slept.
Leaders, I may be a dog, but Iโve learned a few things in my many years.

You need it to stay creative. Clear. Connected. Calm. Intentional.

Try a few frequencies. Vary them. See what helps your brain relax.

You humans always talk about leading with heart.
Just remember - hearts and minds both need rest.
