Hi there.


Iโ€™m Riley.


Iโ€™m 15ยฝ years old - white fur, hazel eyes, lots of lived experience.


Thatโ€™s me now in the bottom picture.


Back in the day, I was unstoppable.


Ocean waves? I leapt over them.


Swimming pools? I dove right in.


Road trips to Carmel? Count me in.


Iโ€™ve played with friends, eaten a lot of roast chicken, and filled every day with tail wags and full-body joy.


These days, my legs arenโ€™t quite what they used to be.


And when the sun goes down, I sometimes feel a littleโ€ฆ off.


Itโ€™s hard to settle. My Mom and Dad can see it.


And because Iโ€™m up pacing and panting, theyโ€™re up too.


But this week my mom tried something new: ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฎ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€.


My good friend Raymond told her about it.


(40hz, in case youโ€™re wondering. Who knew we had favorite frequencies?)


She played the sounds at bedtime, and you know what?


I settled.


I snored.


She settled.


We all slept.


Leaders, I may be a dog, but Iโ€™ve learned a few things in my many years.


Hereโ€™s one: ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€.


You need it to stay creative. Clear. Connected. Calm. Intentional.


๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ปโ€™๐˜ ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น ๐—ถ๐—ณ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ปโ€™๐˜€ ๐˜€๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜.

Try a few frequencies. Vary them. See what helps your brain relax.
