What’s it like to be part of the Take the Reins: Be the CEO of Your Life Experience?
As I planned to post this today, I couldn’t help but pause at how appropriate a day it is – it’s Martin Luther King Day. It’s a day when we honor the life and leadership of a man who stood for humanity being judged “not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character”. In a future blog, I will expose just how much I connect with this vision.
On Friday I led the first Take the Reins: Be the CEO of Your Life Experience of 2024.
What I loved most is seeing a room filled with amazing people from so many walks of life – locations, roles, generations, industries, male and female – all noticing that, despite their differences, just how many commonalities we share! THIS is directly ties to my personal vision.
Insights from last Friday’s cohort:
· Women and Men participated.
· They were from Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Oakland, Massachusetts, New York City, Chicago, Denver, Oklahoma City, Pasadena and Berlin, Germany
· They spanned 4 generations.
· They were a multi-Industry group brought together C-Suite, Middle-Management, Individual Contributors, Founder, General Counsel, and a musician.
· They came from small business, Entrepreneurial/Founder, large non-profit, global 100,000+ C-Suite, and… a musician (can’t live in this world without the power and contribution of musicians).
Most powerful? ALL came together & played the game together as fellow humans!
Wanna Take the Reins, too? There may be 2 seats left for this Friday, and February 23rd is now open!
